Special guest this year will be Tony Bramwell, who was a childhood friend of Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Tony went on to become their road manager and talent scout. He was also responsible for the music for some of the Bond films and got Paul McCartney (with whom he is still in regular touch) to do Live and Let Die. According to Tony’s book, Magical Mystery Tours:My Life With The Beatles, not only were Paul McCartney and John Lennon from Irish families, but they considered themselves to be Irish too. Tony will be talking and answering questions at the festival and chatting to Beatles fans.
